Job Summary:

The Regional Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing the operations of multiple Weed Man Lawn Care locations within a designated region. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in people management, a knack for working closely with executives, and the ability to analyze and interpret reports and analytics to drive operational success. Additionally, this role requires a strong focus on training and development to ensure team members have the skills and knowledge to excel. As our business grows, this role will evolve, offering new opportunities and challenges. This position is perfect for a Golf Course Superintendent looking to transition into a new and exciting role.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Operational Management: Oversee daily operations across multiple locations, ensuring that all services are performed to the highest standards and in compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • People Management: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of managers and staff, fostering a positive work environment and promoting a culture of excellence and accountability.
  • Training and Development: Develop and implement comprehensive training programs for managers and staff to enhance their skills, knowledge, and performance. Regularly assess training needs and provide ongoing development opportunities to ensure team growth and retention.
  • Strategic Planning: Work closely with executives to develop and implement strategic plans that drive growth and operational efficiency within the region.
  • Performance Analysis: Utilize reports and analytics to monitor performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement solutions that enhance productivity and customer satisfaction.
  • Customer Service: Ensure that customer service standards are met and exceeded, and handle escalated customer issues as needed.
  • Budget Management: Develop and manage budgets for multiple locations, ensuring financial objectives are met and resources are allocated effectively.
  • Vendor and Fleet Management: Work with product vendors and fleet partners to optimize pricing and inventory management.
  • Compliance: Ensure all locations adhere to local, state, and federal regulations, as well as company policies and standards.


Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a management or supervisory role, preferably in the lawn care, landscaping, or golf course management industry.
  • Strong people management skills with a track record of building and leading successful teams.
  • Experience in training and development, with the ability to create and implement effective training programs.
  • Ability to work effectively with executives and other senior leaders within the business.
  • Proficient in using reports and analytics to make data-driven decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, horticulture, agronomy, or a related field is preferred but not required.
